Your mantis creature is so cool, and you put so much detail into it... I'd almost swear you modeled it from a real animal, between the markings and the colors.

It IS modeled from a real animal, it's an African species of mantis. They come in more colors than that, some even have a lavender-ish purple on them. And it's life-size.
